Guidelines for a good nomination

NOTE: These guidelines are intended to help you improve your nomination and highlight your project in an honest yet impactful way. However, whether you get an award or not also depends on the quality of other nominations in the same category and of course, the jury’s perspectives from their own rich and varied experience.

  • Position your project clearly. Consult the helpline and the evaluators to pick the most relevant award category.
  • Pay attention to the requirements for your category—from the nomination form, supporting documents, adherences, and more.
  • Fill up the KPI tables in the nomination form as truthfully and as clearly as you can.
  • Include Process maps (before & after automation) so evaluators can get a good project overview.
  • Include business impact indicators where asked for (even sensible surrogate indicators will do).
  • Outline where you see this project going in future and how it would strategically help your organisation.
  • Feel free to add further notes/documents, if you need to, after discussions with the evaluators. The more complete your project story is, the better.
  • Remember that not getting an award does not make your project poor. You may score a century but still lose the game—that does not make your century any less valuable. Genuine excellence is an attitude of improvement, a journey not a fixed destination.
  • Connect with your evaluators later to get general feedback on your project, improvement areas etc—if you wish.
  • Here’s wishing you good luck for the UiPath Automation Excellence Awards 2022
